I would like to facilitate discussion between people on this blog.

With that said, there are a few rules:

I will not delete your comments if you don’t agree with my point of view, but…

• Don’t be rude. It’s entirely possible to make your point in a civilised manner without being obnoxious.
• If you behave like a troll, I will delete your post and banish you to the bridge from whence you came.
• Remember that opinions are just that – opinions.  And while this blog consists mainly of my opinions, don’t ever forget that an opinion doesn’t trump fact, research or proof, no matter how you feel about it.
• Don’t use foul language (unless you absolutely feel there’s no better way to express what you’re trying to say).  I won’t delete your posts or censor you, but using crass language is mostly unnecessary.
• Lastly, if you’ve made statements that get a lot of people talking, please don’t just disappear after your last post.  If you’ve said things to get people riled up and for which they’re demanding further information and references, please provide it.  If you don’t and you simply disappear, I will consider you an instigator and a troll (so see the second point above).
